American Dad: Fox's Second Chance at a Left Shoe

americandad.gif

AMERICAN DAD, from “Family Guy” creator SETH MacFARLANE, is the animated story of STAN SMITH (MacFARLANE), who works for the CIA and is constantly on the alert for terrorist activity. Stan will go to extremes to protect his beloved America from harm – as evidenced by the terror-alert color code on his fridge, and his frequent knee-jerk reaction of shooting holes in the toaster whenever the toast pops up. In addition to Stan’s wife and teenage children, the Smith household has two rather unconventional members. There’s ROGER (MacFARLANE), the sarcastic space alien Stan rescued from Area 51 who deeply resents the fact that he’s not allowed to leave the house, and KLAUS (DEE BRADLEY BAKER, “Stripperella,” “Johnny Bravo”), a lascivious, German-speaking goldfish – the result of a CIA experiment gone seriously wrong.

Still no news on if FOX will show the new Family Guy episodes or not, but Comedee Centralee will be showing them. wait, "Seth MacFarlane's dysfunctional animated family will return to FOX's schedules in the summer of 2005 with all new episodes." says Zap2it. ( also "The much-anticipated return of FAMILY GUY is projected for summer 2005, when the acclaimed animated series will follow its DVD success with a fourth season on FOX." from a FOX Press Release.) THUS, it would seem the new episodes will start running on Comedy Central in early 2005, and on FOX in Summer 2005.

Tonight there was the Season Finale of the Simpsons. I liked the episode. It had some good jokes, and the story was a good one as well. Malcolm in the Middle was a good ending as well. NOTE: Promos for television shows ruin watching them for the first time to see what happens.. bah.

Klaus!!

Fox better air family guy. Even though I have cable. Family guy deserves as much coverage as possible.

i think it is great that macfarlane is doing another show.. i cant wait for it, along with family guy. some people may argue that this show will be too much like family guy, but frankly, who cares? lets just wait and see if it can compare to the show we've all known and loved, family guy.
