The Bathroom Reader: blink

People, I got Blink on Tuesday the 11th, and just now I have finished it. I have finished it in the time I have been going to the bathroom over the past five days.

And, it is a great book! It is about those first few seconds when our unconscious brings out a first conclusion. Such as, racial stereotypes. We live in a society where there are these stereotypes and most of us (I hope) are able to look past these stereotypes and deal with people on equality. But, in the first blink of our eyes, those stereotypes are there. That may not be the best explanation, and there are many more on the website for the book, but believe me, it is a good book for the casual bathroom reader. The famous narrative style of Malcolm Gladwell comes through again brilliantly (what can I say, I have fallen in love), so go and just get it!
