Lost, up to Episode 17
LOST is just amazoing, amazoing. Something that may be lacking, however, is the story of what they are doing with themselves in relation to the island. We have learned about many of the character's past struggles, but they have not done much with the people on the island. And there are other people on the island.
I think my favorite character is Locke, just because he is so calm all the time and knows how to do everything, but he is just a regional manager of a box company. I want to know more about him, where he got his skills, and everything else like that. I think the Jin and Sun backstory part 2 was a little disappointing, but it was needed to tell their story on the island (uhm, why did he not going back to her, come on). Finally, everyone knows the broad speaks English, and with a mighty fine vocabulary, might I add. Michael needs to get himself together, he is just all over the place, high strung and all that shit.
I want to know more about the sounds on the island. And come on, there has to be some more explanation to why everything is so weird. It is obvious Claire's baby has some magical poweresses, and Walt also has magical powers. Walt is one weird kid.
Ah, but next week, we finally get to see what is going on with Hurley's backstory. He most represents the nameless faces that were on the plane, the extras that are on the show but are not the main characters (which they could switch around from episode to episode and no one would notice). He was in the TV in the Korean guy's house on the most recent episode. I was watching the TV rather than the action because I knew they like to put little things like that into the show. Sure enough he was there, and it was very exciting for me to call out, and have the other three people in the room that I was making watch this show just plain confused. (Lights off to make sure i can make out all the dark patches they like to put on the show)
