Thank You Lost (Seasons 1 Finale)

So, tonight was the 2 hour season finale of LOST. It was great. Katie and Jill came over to watch it. Despite the unclear picture (I did record it in HDTV, however), I enjoyed it thoroughly. (update 9/23/05- I got rid of the spoiler invisotext)

Dude, that guy just blew himself up., I did not see the raft twist coming. Dude, were those the others, why the hell are they on a nice boat, out at night, and why are they still hanging around a freaking crazy island!? I also would have done the very last shot differently, though that means nothing because I am never going to have that kind of chance. I would have had the torch drop down, and have the camera be behind it as it drops, then have it snake through the underground hatch area and finally reveal some door with a light overhead that is pulsating red. Also, what was with the black whisp of cloud flying around?, cool CGI for a network TV show. I would have liked a few questions to have been answered or for the plot to move forward just a little. It was, but then it hit the end cliffhanger... snap.
