Will I Make it? Or will I Do Laundry?
So, I am going to be going home Tuesday the 22nd, with my laundry. However, it might be a lot, or a little, depending on if my underwear holds steady. I have five pairs left. Let's look at the scenario's of how to make my underwear last, or not...
Scenario 1 Normalcy I continue doing what I normally do. Everyday I have class or have to interact with people for work, I will take a shower. Consequently, I will change my underwear. (Despite what campers do, it is not a shower unless you change all your clothes (except for pants if they are clean, because, come on, they are pants.) Therefore, that comes to 5 days. Tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday, Next Monday, and Next Tuesday. What happened to the three day weekend? I have no class those days, and no need to interact with folks. Therefore, I will just make it.
Scenario 2 Too Much To Do I continue doing what I normally do, but I must interact with people on the three day weekend. Therefore, at least 1 extra shower is added, upsetting the fine balance I have left in the bank. At the most, 8 pairs are needed, which will warrant an immediate laundry load.
Scenario 3 Whatever I don't shower, I don't wear new underwear (barring some night problem) and I smell. Seems unlikely.
Scenario 4 Meh Similar to Whatever, except it goes against a clear principle from Scenario 1: " it is not a shower unless you change all your clothes." This scenario plays out showering, but not changing underwear, which just doesn't make sense. Which seems unlikely.
So, either way, I will end up with a cache of 0 pairs of underwear or having to do a load of laundry.
