The Week Tucker Was in Town

So, on this past Sunday I was sitting, chilling, watching the food channel in my living room, when all of a sudden there is a knock on the door. It is Tucker Slosburg, friend from camp. He said he would be visiting soon, I just never knew when. It was quite a pleasant surprise to see him. He had just been up in N. Dakota, then to Camp, and the previous night I think in some Fudge Town in Michigan. He said he would be staying one or two days, instead he stayed all up until this morning.

He did more in his 4 days here than I have done in the past year. He met with friends, scholars, shopped around town, got work on his thesis/dissertation thing done. It was incredible. The people he would meet and run into and talk with and the amount of stuff he got done.

It is sad he had to go. Him spending his nights on one of my couches seemed to work well for him. He got a hell of a lot of work done.
