Spring Break '06 : Day 2
So, today turned out to be far more exciting than I had planned.
I woke up around... say, 11 30? and made a song in GarageBand, and that took me about an hour and a half. By that time, Pug was home, Devan was awake, and the two were ready to set off onto the airport. Devan missed his flight yesterday, and was sure to make his flight today. I ate a cucumber.
As Devan was being sent off, I watched TV, channel 49 the food channel. I was inspired and ruined a steak by cooking it, and deciding to add enchilada sauce to it. The smell of it penetrated into every pore of the house. Oh dear.
Pug returned, and we decided that we wanted to do something. Something had to be done. It was Sunny outside!
So, I suggested we go throw the disc on the Diag, a popular past time for nice weather. We walked up, and threw. I hadn't thrown for a while, but I soon got my skill back. Once you learn to do it, you never forget it, you can just become a little rusty. One of the things I noticed I was most rusty on running. I got tired very quickly, it was upsetting to me that I was so bad at moving my body quickly. I need to start exercising, but that is for another day.
Well, throwing was good, until it started to snow. Yeah, it began to snow while the sun was shining brightly. Therefore, I suggested we go to the library and get a movie out, and then i realized that the place was closed, so we logged onto a pair of computers, and he showed me some really cool videos of people playing Zelda and Mario themes via Piano.
Afterwards, I wanted to go to get Wired magazine. did that. He wanted to get a used book, we went. I wanted to get a comic book. Went there to, they were out. Tried borders, no luck. snap. Then, we went to Blimpy Burger: bad colon-fucking medicine. Damn. That ripped us both apart.
So, after we ate our burgers, and I had a nice doody, we went to Meijer. I wanted to clean my bathroom, which had been disgusting since the beginning of school ever since I got here, and I think he wanted to bake, or something.
We got back to the house, and I went to work cleaning. I had bought gloves and a sponge-type thing and I set to work, along with lysol, removing some nastyness from my bathroom. For those of you with a faint heart, dare not read on. Alright, there was hair everywhere, just, like, everything that should be white was blanketed with hair of all variety. So, I mean, it was horrendous, sponging up these big glops of hair, disgusting. And I didn't even put them there, I swear, it wasn't my fault. It was this disgusting when I got here. I did dispose of all the newspapers I had brought in there and such.
But now, wow, it is nice and clean, like, clean. The sink is white and shiny, and the faucet doesn't have soap scum all over it. Ahhhh, god, just thinking about it again gives me the 'willies.' At one point I did need to start boots on and clean the shower area. I mean, it was clean enough, but there was residue that was upsetting. It was finally time for a Spring (Break) Cleaning.
That was Day 2, in a nutshell. Pug made a triple layer cake, which I don't like at all. Tomorrow, i will make some derby pie. I didn't really have a boring today at all. Pug and I walked over a good portion of Northwestern part of campus. I made a nice song. I cleaned the bathroom (by the way, cleaning makes you feel very good afterwards), right now my laundry is in the dryer. I have more than conquered Day 2 of Spring Break.
