Thanks Ben and Sam. Honestly tho I wasnt even expecting to place seeing as the only pratice I have had is playing people who have no idea what they are doing. It was a tight tournament/BBQ/weekend.

yo, i was reading a CNN.com article about poker, and ran into THIS:

"You're paying for entertainment," says Eli Goldfarb, a freshman at Columbia University in New York. "The long and the short of it is, I have fun playing poker, and when I play well, I can buy more burritos.

"What's not to like?

makin the news...

what?

Posted by: nostradamus at November 30, 2004 08:07 PM

I also found this when I googled Eli's name. He got to ask the prime minister of australia a few questions but first he had to spill the juice on his secret life:
Eli Goldfarb
I am in the 11th grade at the Field School in Washington, D.C. I am interested in politics and I have done internships in the office of Congresswoman Nita Lowey, the Washington bureau of the New York Daily News, and the Washington chapter of the ACLU. In particular I have taken an interest in civil liberties issues and I have had two letters on this published in the Washington Post. In my spare time I like to read, watch movies, and listen to music. I would like to ask Prime Minister Howard about security measures taken post Sept 11th and implications for civil liberties. I am also interested in talking about how Australia's involvement in the War against Iraq has affected relations with SE Asian neighbors.

Did you eli was valedictorian of field? shit i didnt even know till i googled dat name. had a good time seeing both elis, swest and charlotte. as for soco, from now on its a big no no. oh yeah and sam thanks for sneaking up on me when i was sick and running away even though i clearly saw ur ass.

You fucking ass-kisser.

Those four are fantastic hosts though, I regret to agree with fucking stupid Mandel.

Posted by: JRuss at December 1, 2004 06:40 PM

The easy solution is not to agree with him. I don't

Posted by: Lukas Manneun at December 1, 2004 09:43 PM

wait wait wait.... Eli was in the NEWS?

Posted by: dcohen at December 1, 2004 11:13 PM

Posted by: farbs at December 1, 2004 11:36 PM
