Thanks to Alapo, who initially brought it to my attention, the elusive Kenyatta Graves has been spotted! Albeit the following picture, is from 1996...the man looks good. Let me tell you something else about that picture...he's alone with a WOMAN! Shocking. I'm still waiting patiently for Graves's first novel to come out. He read some of it to my class back in 11th grade, and it sounded impressive although a bit styled after Toni Morrison.
The following dated 12/3/03
Aaron Laporte (12:53:43 AM): http://members.tripod.com/~aasnet/kenroz.jpg
Martocom (12:54:26 AM): holy shit
Martocom (12:54:28 AM): whered you find that
Aaron Laporte (12:54:34 AM): online
Aaron Laporte (12:54:36 AM): ITS GRAVES
For those of you interested, I was also made privy to a little known, publication of Kenyatta's from 2001, entitled: Healing the scars of masculinity: reflections on baseball, gunshots, and war wounds in August Wilson's Fences / Keith Clark.
Any other information people have on Graves will be appreciated by his admirers...(Curtis + Alapo)
