I Believe It Was Bond...

BOND.jpg

Diamonds are forever? Nothing lasts forever. A blow to Dco and all his cohorts was dealt today by the same man who brought you DeCSS. (Thats the software that cracked the encryption on DVDs) Yep, you heard right, Dco's fabled iTunes program has been cracked. I don't know much about biology but I will give you the short and sweet.

The new program circumvents iTunes' anticopying program, MPEG-4 Advanced Audio Coding, by legally opening and playing a protected music file in QuickTime, but then, essentially, draining the unprotected music data into a new and parallel file.

Although the audio captured from each song requires more software to play it, there shouldn't be any problem playing your perfect copy of a protected song. Take that, wankers.

Drudgery

I'm not going to school today, so I figured I'd give you kiddies a glimpse into my dark and complicated past. I've unearthed some ne'erbefore seen videos from the VSP archives. Thanks to that jerk Danny, you'll need Quicktime to view them. Enjoy.

T-Bag the Movie Trailers:

Sheep
Let's Go
Ohkay
Sometime
G on T

Unfortunately, the 6th trailer may never be shown...for movable type claims it is "too large..." How unfortunate.

Call me nostalgic but whatever happened to epic attire? Are jeans, shirts, boxers, and authentic retro NBA hats really superior to robes, capes, codpieces, and cavalier's hats? Its not the same. Debonair? Gentlemanly? I think not. Dueling you say? Man to man...rapier to rapier...behind the Luxembourg Gardens? No longer. Unfortunately for the world, we had a chance to regress...or should I say...simplify. If only Bush had taken Saddam up on his challenge of honor. What a weight it would take off the justice system if one could just settle slights with an epic duel. Political correctness? Political hypocrisy. Politically guaranteed enfranchisement is a plague, creating legions of apathetic citizen-parasites -- each one so self-absorbed that they don't give anything else the time of day. And they desire enfranchisement? For them to take for granted? I think not. Revolution is upon us friends. We should look to the past for guidance. Return the dueling! Return the disparity! Return the privlege! Return the epic.
